A few years ago, I swapped the busy Netherlands for sunny Portugal. Not just to find peace, but mainly to do what I love most: inspire people, connect and create a place where work and life come together.
With my background in social media, branding and business support, I know how important it is to step out of your bubble for a while. Ferragudo Dreams was born out of my own need for space - both physical and mental - which I now share with others.

MAGIC IN THE ALGARVE
Ferragudo is an enchanting and picturesque Portuguese fishing village located on the eastern bank of the Rio Arade. This village has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. Tourism has not affected the authentic and rich social atmosphere of the approximately 2,000 inhabitants here; on the contrary, it buzzes with conviviality in this characteristic fishing village.
In 'the square' you will find a wide range of cosy restaurants and terraces, where tourists and locals alike enjoy side by side the best delicacies and drinks, such as 'galao', 'bica', 'imperial' and 'vinho verde'. Walking along the river, you will come across the famous seafood restaurants, where you can taste the freshest fish of the day. You can even choose your own fish, which will then end up on your plate. Don't forget to explore the streets outside the square, where you will discover hidden gems with typical Portuguese cuisine.
